ST. PETERSBURG, FL – PlacementWorks knows success. A local man with disabilities made a connection with Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront. LaJarvis, who has two disabilities, works as a laundry assistant with a fantastic attitude. He enjoys his job and always does his best to put a smile on his coworker's faces.

GREAT NEWS FOR 2013

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – PlacementWorks assisted the Governor's Commission On Jobs For Floridians With Disabilities on February 8, 2013 at 9:00 am with an open discussion on hiring persons with disabilities. Several of the local employers that have worked with PlacementWorks will be part of the presentation including Publix and The Hilton Bayfront. The commission is charged with developing public policy strategies to advance job and employment opportunities to persons with disabilities, and assist employers in meeting their business needs. The presentation took place at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg - University Student Center.
